This is how you install and set up Vervoco Desktop:-

1. When you purchase Vervoco Desktop, you'll receive an email with a download link. Download the Windows installation file.
   
2. Double-click on the installation file. You'll see a window saying the file is published by Vervoco Pty Ltd. Click "Yes" to allow installation.
   
3. The installer will open. Click "Next".
   
4. Now accept the license and click "Install".
   
5. Click "Finish".
   
6. Vervoco Desktop will start automatically. A window will open, asking for the key provided in the order confirmation email. Copy and paste it from the email.
   
7. Now let's set up the password you'll use to connect to Vervoco Desktop. Open the system tray overflow list in the bottom-right of screen. Drag the Vervoco Desktop icon out of the overflow, for easy access. Right-click on the Vervoco Desktop icon to bring up the menu. Click on "Change Password".
   
8. Enter the default password "Vervoco" and click "Submit".
   
9. Choose, enter and confirm a new password, then click "Submit".

This is how you install and set up Vervoco Desktop:-

2. Once you download the dmg file, double-click on it. If you agree to the license terms, click "Agree".
   
   In the window that opens, simply drag the Vervoco Desktop icon over to the Applications folder.
   
3. Double-click on the "Applications" folder.
4. This step is only required for macOS Catalina (i.e. version 10.15) and later, due to changes in Apple's Gatekeeper software. In the Applications folder, right-click on "Vervoco Desktop" and click "Open" from the menu. Click "OK" in the window shown.
   
   Now right-click on "Vervoco Desktop" (in the Applications folder) a 2nd time, click "Open" on the menu which appears, then click "Open" in the window shown.
   
5. Double-click on Vervoco Desktop in the Applications folder. A window will open, asking for the key provided in the order confirmation email. Copy and paste it from the email.
   
6. Locate the Vervoco Desktop icon in the system tray on the top-right of screen and left-click on it to bring up the menu. Click on "Change Password".
   
7. Enter the default password "Vervoco" and click "Submit".
   
8. Choose, enter and confirm a new password, then click "Submit".
   

You'll need to perform the installation procedure above before using Vervoco Desktop.

Getting Started

In Windows, double-click on the Vervoco Desktop icon on your desktop to start it running. Right-click on the Vervoco Desktop icon in the system tray (bottom-right of screen) to bring up the menu. (If you can't see the icon, refer to point 7 of the installation instructions above.)

In macOS, start Vervoco Desktop by searching for it in Launchpad or Spotlight, as you would for other applications. Left-click on the Vervoco Desktop icon in the system tray (top-right of desktop) to bring up the menu.

From here, Windows and macOS usage is the same. Select a language from the menu to bring up the keyboard for that language. Immediately prior to clicking letters on the keyboard, click in the document you are working on, at the location where you want to enter text. Type on the keyboard. Click on a suggestion to enter it.

To change suggestion settings or keyboard layout, go back into the menu and select "Keyboard Settings".

Vervoco Remote, available from the Apple App Store and from Google Play, is the free companion app for Vervoco Desktop. Vervoco Remote lets you use the same great keyboards and autocompletion modules as those in Vervoco Desktop, but lets you use them on your phone or tablet and transmit words typed over WiFi to your computer. Vervoco Desktop listens for words coming in from Vervoco Remote and inserts them wherever you have the cursor located. To use Vervoco Remote, you will need to purchase and install Vervoco Desktop.

3. In the Vervoco Desktop menu on your PC/Mac, select "Connect Via WiFi", then scan the QR code using Vervoco Remote.
   
4. Enter the password you created in the final step of the Windows/macOS installation procedure above.
   
5. On your computer, click in the document/text field at the position where you want to insert text. On your phone, start typing. When you see the word you want, tap it. It will appear in the document on your computer!
